The CS/LR19 sniper rifle is a tactically improved version of the Type 85 sniper rifle(aChinese copy of the SVD sniper rifle)with a guided-air automatic approach, rotary locking mechanism,10-round magazine feed, and 8x optical sights, The CS/LR19 sniper rifle was not developed with a dedicated high-precision sniper round due to production cost considerations,but rather a generic 7.62×54 mm machine gun round. The biggest change between the rifle and Type 85 would be the scope and rail.
