FC-1 Fighter

The "FC-1" fighter jet adopts a conventional layout of medium aspect ratio wing strips, and the fuselage adopts a supersonic area law, beam and semi hard shell hybrid structure. Single vertical tail, differential horizontal tail, dual pelvic fins, full wingspan leading edge flaps and trailing edge flaps. The leading edge sweep angles of the wings, horizontal tail, and vertical tail are all 42 degrees, with the large sweep angle edge extending all the way to the tail of the fuselage and the first three landing gears. The cockpit adopts an overall curved windshield, a bubble shaped cockpit cover, a micro explosive cable cover, and a "zero zero" ejection rescue system, which provides a good view and reliable ejection rescue.

The fighter jet has 7 external attachment points, 2 wingtips, 4 underwings, and 1 belly center. The main air combat weapons include the Chinese made active radar guided SD-10 over the horizon missile and the PL-9 infrared guided close combat missile. The official report also mentioned anti-ship and anti radar missiles, conventional bombs and guided bombs, as well as anti runway bombs and cluster bombs. The total external load capacity of FC-1 can reach 3.6 tons. In addition, FC-1 is equipped with a 23-3 dual barrel 23 mm caliber machine gun with 220 rounds of ammunition.
