The undercurrent of the "competition" for low altitude talents at the China Air Show is surging.

"In this year's air show, a lot of pilots came to ask for jobs. We also immediately seized the opportunity to print the recruitment information on the spot. In the past few days, many research and development personnel, pilots and market development talents have come to ask for job information." Dai Xin, chief human resources officer of Jiliwo Flying Changkong, made the above statement in an interview with surging journalists during the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the "air show").

The Pengpai News reporter observed that this year's air show has set up a low altitude economy pavilion for the first time. In addition to displaying multiple real aircraft or models, many companies have placed recruitment related banners, posters or related text information on their booths. Usually, business booths of companies will display business cards of sales and marketing department heads to strengthen business communication. However, at this year's air show, several companies also placed additional business card materials such as human resources management directors.

It is worth noting that many human resources managers from low altitude enterprises have also appeared at the air show this year, hoping to have deeper exchanges with top domestic talents.

The so-called low altitude economy refers to a comprehensive economic form that radiates multiple fields in the airspace below 3000 meters, driven by low altitude flight activities of manned and unmanned aircraft. Since the Central Economic Work Conference proposed the concept of "low altitude economy" at the end of last year, the central and local governments have successively introduced support policies for the low altitude industry, and the domestic low altitude economy is facing unprecedented explosive opportunities.

The low altitude order volume has doubled this year, and some companies attach great importance to recruitment opportunities at air shows

Three days before the Zhuhai Airshow is a professional day, and outstanding talents from the entire aviation industry, including executives, backbone personnel, and even chief engineers and technical experts from various companies, will come to the scene. For smart enterprises, this is a rare opportunity to recruit people. "Sun Liye, Vice President of United Aircraft Group, a drone company, told The Paper during the Airshow that United Aircraft Group posted recruitment information at the previous Airshow, and the number of talents consulted this year has significantly increased, at least by more than 50% year-on-year. In addition, there is a clear trend towards younger talent, with more concentrated in the post-90s generation.

The current development of the low altitude economy industry has gone through its infancy and is constantly iterating and evolving rapidly. With the rapid growth of business volume, different types of low altitude enterprise teams are also expanding, and there is an urgent need for talent to inject incremental business.

Since the beginning of this year, the overall order volume of United Aircraft Group has doubled year-on-year, "said Sun Liye. In addition to the 1 billion yuan order for the LaShadow R6000 during this air show, there have been a total of 10000 orders for small drones so far." These orders need to be produced and delivered quickly according to the nodes.

It is reported that on November 13th, United Aircraft Group unveiled the world's first 6-ton tiltrotor aircraft, the LaShadow R6000, at the air show, and signed intention to cooperate agreements with more than ten companies from the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, and across the country at the press conference, receiving orders worth 1 billion yuan.

This year, the company's order volume has increased by 2 to 3 times compared to the same period last year, especially in the emergency rescue industry, where there has been a significant increase in orders. Wu Shuang, co-founder of Hangjing Innovation, a general aviation enterprise, told Pengpai News during the air show that Hangjing Innovation aircraft have a relatively large load capacity and are mainly used for forest firefighting, material delivery, emergency rescue, and other aspects. Generally, civilian products are mainly purchased directly by the government.

Wofei Changkong's product stage is relatively advanced, taking the lead in obtaining the first TCB acceptance in the country. With the rapid progress of airworthiness, there has been a year-on-year growth of more than half of the personnel in recent years. It is still difficult for the talent market to continue supporting such growth. "Dai Xin told Pengpai News reporters that due to the relatively innovative eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft) industry and the high threshold of the aviation industry, there are not many professionals in the current market who can truly have rich experience, and a large part of them need to rely on internal training or external expert empowerment.
